Provender: meat, food, and groceries. I've purchased various things here ranging from burritos made by the little restaurant inside to canned goods. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Prices: reasonable. The meat is a bit pricey, but that's because of the good quality.
Parking: there is metered parking in front, and a small lot behind.
People: fun for all ages.
Perks: they make food inside the market, from burritos to nachos to other dishes. They also have items you probably wouldn't find at major markets. -

Verdict - Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5!
Food: Wow! This place is so underrated and awesome. Serves some of the most delicious tacos I've ever had. Ordered 5 items and all were out of this world yummy!
Everything is made, fresh to order in an open kitchen and comes out piping hot and delicioso!Highly recommend the Taco a mano (Taco w/ handmade tortilla) with Carne Asada (grilled steak) or Chicharrón, Bistec Ranchero (Skirt steak w/ potato in red sauce), Chilaquiles and Nacho Asada (Super nacho w/ grilled steak, cheese, crema, cilantro and salsa).
Be sure to ask for either con salsa roja (red) or salsa verde (green) sauce!
Service: The gentleman that took my order was super nice and friendly, even though I keep annoyingly trying to converse in broken Spanish. The lady that made my order in the kitchen was also super chill and helpful.
Note: This place is not a restaurant. It's an old school butcher shop that happens to serve great food!
Overall, don't be fooled by the nondescript exterior, run down sidewalk and doors. This place serves awesome food and is run by a group of extremely nice, hardworking people. Definitely hole in the wall type joint without a snobby attitude.
Tip: If you pay with credit card, they'll hand you a printed receipt after you order. You then take the receipt and go inside the butcher shop cashier and pay there. Then, come back out to the open kitchen and wait for your order to be ready. -

Food was under seasoned and carne asada had a lot of fat. Soup(Caldo de res) had a lot of squash and one carrot lol. I just looked into yelp for a new place to try some burritos and I came upon this restaurant. My family and I will never go back to this place. We spent $80.00 for some cold food. The guy working Sunday night at 6:15pm is a D-bag for telling me that I can warm my food in the microwave. He gave 15 minutes for my food to be ready. We got there 20 minutes later. He made us wait another
10 Minutes. After telling me that I could warm up my food in the microwave he said it's not my fault you got here late. I just replied thank you for everything. But really wanted to go off on him this is the kind of service we do not need in a Restaurant Bussiness .
WE DIDNT GET THERE LATE IF YOU HAD US WAIT ANOTHER 10 minutes guey!
Needless to say: MY FAM AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! -

The best chilaquiles in town! I got green chilaquiles, the plate comes with rice, beans and fresh chips for $5.69 only
I can say that this is real authentic Mexican food, the green salsa has an unique flavor is delicious... I'll come back soon to try other dishes!!!
